CDV Ag Rapid Test Kit
Canine Distemper Virus (CDV) Antigen Colloidal Gold Rapid Test
Canine Distemper Virus (CDV) is prevalent in a variety of carnivores. Dogs are especially more susceptible to infection through the respiratory system. Since the disease is difficult to cure, the mortality rate is high. Dogs infected with canine distemper virus can be detected the virus in blood about 1 week after infection, and symptoms such as fever, dry cough, conjunctivitis, vomiting, and diarrhea occur about 2 weeks after infection. CDV antigen rapid detection kit uses rapid immunochromatographic detection technology to detect CDV antigen. After the sample is added to the sample hole, the CDV antigen (if it is present in the sample) will combine with colloidal gold-labeled anti-CDV monoclonal antibody to form an antigen-antibody complex that moves along the chromatographic membrane, and binds to the antibody in the detection line area (T) to show a wine-red color. If no CDV antigen is present in the sample, no color reaction occurs.
